CVE-2026-23725Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Victim-browser script execution via unescaped adopter names

Published Jan 16, 2026 · Updated Jan 16, 2026

Stored XSS in WeGIA before 3.6.2 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript in another user's browser through adopter names. cadastro_adotante.php persists the nome value, and informacao_adotantes.php inserts it directly into adopter-table cells without output escaping. An account permitted to create or edit adopters is required, and the payload runs when another user opens Adopters Information, exposing that browser session to theft or unauthorized actions.
