Stored script execution via unescaped dropdown options
Published Jan 16, 2026 · Updated Jan 16, 2026
Stored XSS in WeGIA before 3.6.2 allows remote authenticated users to execute JavaScript through a crafted Atendido name. The occurrence-registration endpoint inserts database-sourced Atendido names into HTML option elements without output encoding. A user permitted to create or edit Atendidos can store the payload, which executes when the affected dropdown is rendered and exposes the viewer's browser session.
