Arbitrary code execution via NDB out-of-bounds read
Published Feb 10, 2026 · Updated Feb 10, 2026
Out-of-bounds read in Siemens Simcenter Femap and Nastran before V2512 allows attackers to execute code through a crafted NDB file. The applications read beyond an NDB buffer boundary during parsing; Siemens has not disclosed the affected parser routine or exact malformed field. Exploitation requires a user to open an untrusted NDB file, after which code runs with the current process's privileges; a crash is also possible.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
