Published Feb 26, 2026 · Updated Feb 26, 2026
Incorrect permissions in Digital Arts FinalCode 5 before 5.43R01 and FinalCode 6 before 6.51R01 allow local users to execute code as SYSTEM. The installer applies an incorrect ACL to the installation directory, leaving its contents modifiable by non-administrators. A local non-administrative account is required, and successful exploitation runs arbitrary code with SYSTEM privileges.
