Information disclosure and crash via zero-length sniffing

Buffer overread in libsoup3 on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 10 allows remote attackers to disclose memory or crash applications. In sniff_unknown in libsoup/soup-content-sniffer.c, the has-whitespace loop subtracts one from an unsigned zero resource_length, then reads an empty SoupBuffer. A malicious peer must cause a libsoup-using client to content-sniff a zero-length resource; the bounded outcomes are process-memory disclosure and application-level denial of service.
