Cleartext transmission in Microsoft Azure IoT Explorer before 0.15.13 allows remote attackers to read sensitive data over a network. The ServerBase component creates its application listener with Node.js http.createServer, so requests and responses carrying IoT Hub information lack transport encryption. Exploitation requires network reachability to the running listener; the published impact is disclosure only, with no integrity or availability loss.
