Stored XSS via unescaped DNS blocklist entry
Published Feb 19, 2026 · Updated Feb 19, 2026
Stored XSS in GFI MailEssentials AI before 22.4 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts in a logged-in user's browser. The IP DNS Blocklist page stores HTML or JavaScript from the ctl00$ContentPlaceHolder1$pv1$TXB_IPs parameter and renders it without neutralization in the management interface. Exploitation requires authenticated access to change the blocklist and a logged-in user to view the poisoned configuration; impact is limited to that user's web session.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
