Stored XSS via unsanitized IP Blocklist descriptions
Published Feb 19, 2026 · Updated Feb 19, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in GFI MailEssentials AI before 22.4 allows remote authenticated users to execute script in a logged-in user's browser. The IP Blocklist page stores the ctl00$ContentPlaceHolder1$pv1$txtIPDescription value and renders it without neutralizing supplied HTML or JavaScript. Access to the management page is required, and execution occurs when a logged-in user later views the stored description.
