CVE-2026-2361Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Superuser escalation via unqualified catalog reference

Published Feb 11, 2026 · Updated Feb 11, 2026

Privilege escalation in DALIBO PostgreSQL Anonymizer before 3.0.1 allows remote authenticated users to gain database superuser access. The SECURITY DEFINER function anon.get_tablesample_ratio uses an unqualified pg_database reference, allowing a temporary view to shadow the system catalog and execute attacker-controlled code as the function owner. Remote authenticated users need CREATE privilege; PostgreSQL 14 and upgraded instances are more exposed because public-schema creation is granted by default.
