Elevated command execution via unvalidated instruction input
Published Jan 29, 2026 · Updated Jan 29, 2026
Command injection in TeamViewer DEX Platform through version 20 allows remote authenticated users to run elevated commands on connected hosts. The 1E-Nomad-RunPkgStatusRequest instruction accepts malicious command text in its input field without adequate validation and passes it into elevated command execution. An account with actioner privilege and user interaction are required; only connected hosts running 1E Client before 24.5 are exposed.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.

Attacks
What attackers are doing with it
Daily unique IPs observed by Shadowserver honeypots for known exploited vulnerabilities (KEVs). Missing observations do not establish an absence of attacks.
