Cross-realm route access via unchecked JWT issuer
Published Feb 23, 2026 · Updated Feb 23, 2026
Authentication bypass in Apache Camel 4.15.0 through 4.17.0 allows remote attackers to access routes across Keycloak realms. KeycloakSecurityHelper.parseAccessToken decodes the JWT without comparing its iss claim to the realm configured in KeycloakSecurityPolicy. A valid token from another realm with a matching role reaches protected routes, enabling cross-tenant data access and privilege use.
