CVE-2026-2354Network attack vector

Authenticated file upload via substring extension check

Published Jul 11, 2026 · Updated Jul 11, 2026

Unrestricted file upload in WP Messiah Swiss Toolkit For WP 1.4.6 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to upload PHP files. The upload_extension_files() filter uses strpos() to accept any filename containing a configured extension string instead of validating its final extension. Author-level access and Enhanced Multi-Format Image Support with an allowed format are required; uploaded PHP executes on servers configured to process it.
