Unauthenticated file write via save-document authorization omission
Published Jul 1, 2026 · Updated Jul 1, 2026
Missing authorization in Feast Feature Server before 0.59.0 allows remote attackers to write arbitrary JSON files through the /save-document endpoint. The save_document_endpoint accepts requests without authentication and serializes supplied JSON to attacker-selected filesystem locations despite intended path restrictions. Network access to the HTTP service is sufficient; successful writes can overwrite configurations or startup scripts, exhaust disk space, and enable code execution.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
