CVE-2026-23499Network attack vector

Script execution in staff browsers via active-content uploads

Published Jan 21, 2026 · Updated Jan 21, 2026

Stored XSS in Saleor before 3.20.108, 3.21.43, and 3.22.27 allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts in staff browsers. The fileUpload and digitalContentCreate mutations accept HTML or SVG without MIME and extension allowlisting, and same-origin media responses render that content under the dashboard origin. Exploitation requires staff or App upload privileges, victim interaction, same-origin media hosting, and no Content-Disposition attachment header; Saleor Cloud is unaffected.
