Authenticated arbitrary file write via path traversal
Published Mar 23, 2026 · Updated Mar 23, 2026
Path traversal in Blinko 1.8.3 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to write arbitrary files through saveDevPlugin. The endpoint joins unvalidated fileName input to the development-plugin directory and passes the resulting path and supplied code to writeFileWithDir. Any normal user can reach the authProcedure-protected interface; writes escape the plugin directory and alter files accessible to the server process.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
