UI spoofing via undisclosed Downloads implementation
Published Feb 11, 2026 · Updated Feb 11, 2026
UI spoofing in Downloads in Google Chrome before 145.0.7632.45 allows remote attackers to misrepresent browser UI via crafted HTML. The restricted Chromium issue does not disclose which Downloads code path incorrectly renders or associates attacker-controlled content with trusted browser UI. Exploitation requires a user to open the crafted page, and the published impact is limited to UI integrity rather than data access or service interruption.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
