Kernel crash via unchecked NAPI queue pointers
Published Feb 14, 2026 · Updated Feb 14, 2026
A NULL pointer dereference in the Linux Kernel ice driver allows local users to crash the kernel during resume from system suspend. The ice_vsi_set_napi_queues function passes a NULL rings[q_idx]->q_vector to netif_queue_set_napi without first validating the ring and queue-vector pointers. Triggering the crash requires the Intel E810 ice driver and a suspend/resume cycle; it reproduces with SR-IOV enabled or disabled.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
