Out-of-bounds memory access via crafted HTML
Published Feb 11, 2026 · Updated Feb 11, 2026
Memory-safety failure in WebGPU in Google Chrome before 145.0.7632.45 allows remote attackers to trigger out-of-bounds access via crafted HTML. The Chromium issue is access-restricted, so Google has not disclosed the faulty WebGPU operation or the validation error that permits the access. A user must open the crafted page; the public record does not establish whether the access reads or writes memory, crashes Chrome, or escapes its sandbox.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
