Remote service interruption via stale sparse-read state

Denial of service in Linux Kernel 6.6 through 6.19-rc4 allows remote attackers to trap libceph OSD reads in a persistent retry loop. In osd_fault(), the OSD client abandons and rebuilds a failed connection without resetting its independent sparse-read state, so a new reply is parsed as a continuation of the old payload. A system must be using libceph for sparse reads against a Ceph OSD, and a mid-payload connection loss or sparse-read error must occur; affected I/O then loops without recovery.
