Local denial of service via missing uacce callbacks

Denial of service in the Linux Kernel uacce driver allows local users to crash the system through isolation-policy sysfs access. The isolate threshold sysfs handlers call isolate_err_threshold_read or isolate_err_threshold_write even when the selected callback is absent. Exploitation requires low-privileged local access, an exposed uacce device, and a driver implementing only the opposite callback; the consequence is a system crash.
