Kernel oops via NULL plane-pointer dereferences

NULL pointer dereferences in the GUD DRM driver in Linux Kernel 6.18 through 6.18.6 allow physically proximate attackers to trigger a kernel oops. During drm_atomic_helper_disable_all(), a USB display disconnect clears a plane's framebuffer and CRTC pointers before gud_plane_atomic_check() and gud_plane_atomic_update() use them during the ensuing commit. Physical access to disconnect an attached GUD display is required, and the reported consequence is a kernel oops rather than data access or modification.
