Double free via duplicate device-node reference release
Published Jan 31, 2026 · Updated Jan 31, 2026
Double free in the Rockchip Innosilicon USB2 PHY driver in Linux Kernel allows attackers to cause unspecified impact during probe. The rockchip_usb2phy_probe() error path releases child_np in the loop, then calls of_node_put() on it again after IRQ allocation fails. Triggering requires the Rockchip driver probe to encounter a devm_request_threaded_irq() failure; no attacker-controlled path or resulting system effect is published.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
