Reference leak in gpio_mpsse_probe() in Linux Kernel 6.13 through 6.18.5 allows local users to interrupt service via failed MPSSE probes. gpio_mpsse_probe() takes a USB-device reference with usb_get_dev() but its error paths return without releasing that reference. Exploitation requires local access and repeated MPSSE USB probe failures; the reported impact is service interruption without data exposure or modification.
