Weak password storage in SICK AG TDC-X401GL all versions allows remote attackers to extract device passwords over the network. The password storage uses inadequate salting, but SICK has not disclosed the storage locus, salt construction, or extraction method. Exploitation requires AppEngine to remain active; SICK reassigned the flaw to CVE-2025-32471 and rejected this identifier.
