Improper access control in SICK TDC-X401GL all versions allows remote attackers to start, stop, or delete installed applications. The AppEngine management path processes application lifecycle requests without enforcing authorization, although SICK has not disclosed the affected endpoint or function. Network access to a device with AppEngine enabled is sufficient; stopping or deleting an application interrupts the service that application provides.
