CVE-2026-22906Network attack vector

Credential disclosure via hardcoded AES-ECB key

Published Feb 9, 2026 · Updated Feb 9, 2026

Credential disclosure in WAGO Industrial Managed Switch 852-1322 and 852-1328 2.64 and earlier allows remote attackers to recover credentials. The web management interface stores usernames and passwords with AES-ECB under a fixed firmware key, making configuration ciphertext reversibly decryptable. Access to the configuration file is required; the separately documented authentication bypass exposes configuration downloads without credentials.
