Authentication bypass via URI path traversal
Published Feb 9, 2026 · Updated Feb 9, 2026
Path traversal in the web interface of WAGO 852-1322 and 852-1328 through 2.64 allows remote attackers to bypass authentication. URI validation accepts dot-dot segments such as /js/../cgi-bin/post.cgi, causing an apparently public path to resolve to protected CGI handlers. No credentials or user interaction are required, and successful requests expose protected endpoints and configuration downloads without granting write access.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
