Administrator-level script execution via Block Emails setting
Published Mar 4, 2026 · Updated Mar 4, 2026
Stored XSS in Taskbuilder 5.0.3 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to execute scripts through the Block Emails setting. The Block Emails admin setting accepts unsanitized content, and wppm_get_en_general_setting.php renders the stored value without context-appropriate escaping. Exploitation requires administrator access and either a multisite installation or an installation with unfiltered_html disabled; injected scripts run when a user opens the affected page.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
