CVE-2026-22887

System crash via undisclosed kernel buffer operation

Published Aug 11, 2026 · Updated Aug 11, 2026

Improper buffer restrictions in Intel PROSet/Wireless WiFi Software before 24.30 allow physically proximate attackers to crash Windows. Intel has not disclosed the affected kernel driver, input field, or buffer operation that violates its bounds. Exploitation requires adjacency to a system using a supported Intel wireless adapter, needs no privileges or user interaction, and can corrupt kernel integrity and interrupt system availability.
