CVE-2026-22886Network attack vector

Unauthenticated administrator access via default credentials

Published Mar 3, 2026 · Updated Mar 3, 2026

Default administrator credentials in Eclipse OpenMQ version 0 allow remote attackers to gain full broker control over TCP. The flat-file user repository creates an active admin account with the password admin, and imqbrokerd continues authenticating that unchanged credential for administrative commands. Reachability to the broker service is sufficient; successful login permits management of services, connections, destinations, subscriptions, and transactions.
