Process-memory disclosure via unchecked polyline count
Published Mar 17, 2026 · Updated Mar 17, 2026
Out-of-bounds read in Canva Affinity before 3.1.0 allows attackers to disclose process memory through a crafted EMF file. The EMF loader trusts EMR_POLYPOLYLINE polyline and point counts, then loops beyond recordSize while reading the aPoints array. A user must open the crafted file; the over-read can expose arbitrary memory within Affinity's process and can also crash it.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
