CVE-2026-22812Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Command execution via unauthenticated local HTTP API

Published Jan 12, 2026 · Updated Jan 12, 2026

Missing authentication in OpenCode before 1.0.216 allows remote attackers to execute shell commands through its local HTTP API. The automatically started server exposes POST /session/:id/shell and POST /pty without authentication and applies wildcard CORS. A local process can invoke the API directly, while a malicious website can reach it through a victim's browser; commands run with the OpenCode user's privileges.
