Administrator-level stored XSS via unsanitized label text

Published Feb 18, 2026 · Updated Feb 18, 2026

Stored XSS in Ederson Peka Private Comment 0.0.4 and earlier allows remote authenticated users to inject scripts via Label text. The Label text option stores unsanitized content and renders it into page output without context-appropriate escaping. Administrator-level access is required, and the path is exposed only on multisite installations or sites where unfiltered_html is disabled; opening an injected page executes the stored script in the visitor's browser.
