Authenticated RCE via mismatched upload field validation
Published Jan 12, 2026 · Updated Jan 12, 2026
Arbitrary file upload in SMEWebify WebErpMesv2 before 1.19 allows remote authenticated users to execute PHP code via image endpoints. QuoteLinesController::StoreImage and OrderLinesController::StoreImage validate the image field but move the unvalidated picture field into public web directories under an attacker-controlled filename. Any authenticated account can submit a PHP script and request its public URL, executing commands with the web server's privileges.
