CVE-2026-22774Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Service interruption via unchecked typed-array hydration

Published Jan 15, 2026 · Updated Jan 15, 2026

Resource exhaustion in Svelte devalue 5.3.0 through 5.6.1 allows remote attackers to interrupt services via crafted parsed data. The typed-array branch in unflatten hydrates a caller-selected value and passes it to a typed-array constructor without first verifying that it is an ArrayBuffer. Exposure requires an application to pass externally supplied data to devalue.parse; crafted object metadata drives disproportionate CPU or memory consumption until the application becomes unavailable.
