Session compromise via unsanitized SVG upload
Published Feb 12, 2026 · Updated Feb 12, 2026
Stored cross-site scripting in Wix Website Builder allows remote authenticated users to run JavaScript in another user's browser via an SVG upload. The account-settings image uploader stores SVG content without neutralizing embedded scripts, which execute when another user views the image. Low-privilege Wix access is required; execution is limited to browser context and can expose sensitive data or abuse the victim's session.
