CVE-2026-22745Network attack vector

Service interruption via slow static resource resolution

Published Apr 29, 2026 · Updated Apr 29, 2026

Uncontrolled resource consumption in Spring Framework allows remote attackers to interrupt Windows applications via static resource requests. Spring MVC and WebFlux file-system resource handlers resolve malicious requests slowly while the corresponding HTTP connections remain occupied. Exposure requires an affected version on Windows, MVC or WebFlux, and static resources served from the file system; successful requests reduce application availability.
