Authenticated disk exhaustion via undeleted multipart temp files
Published Apr 29, 2026 · Updated Apr 29, 2026
Uncontrolled resource consumption in affected Spring Framework WebFlux versions allows remote authenticated users to exhaust disk space. The multipart request cleanup path can leave temporary files for parts larger than 10 K on disk after request processing completes. An authenticated network user must reach a multipart-enabled WebFlux endpoint; repeated requests consume disk space and interrupt service.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=5.3.0 <5.3.48
- Affected versionversion=6.1.0 <6.1.27
