Application code injection via unprotected internal endpoints
Published Mar 17, 2026 · Updated Mar 17, 2026
Missing authentication in Cloud Foundry CAPI 1.226.0 and earlier allows attackers to replace application droplets via internal network access. Cloud Foundry identifies unprotected internal endpoints as the locus but does not disclose which handlers omit authentication or how requests authorize droplet replacement. Reachability requires access past the deployment firewall to the internal network; a replacement droplet executes attacker-controlled code in an application environment and exposes application data.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
