Application crash via wrapped ICO buffer size

Integer overflow in GIMP's ICO loader on Red Hat Enterprise Linux 7, 8, and 9 allows remote attackers to crash GIMP with a crafted ICO file. The ico_read_info and ico_read_icon functions evaluate image-buffer dimensions with 32-bit arithmetic, letting oversized header values wrap and pass size checks before memory is written. Exploitation requires a user to open the malicious image, and the grounded consequence is memory corruption that terminates or destabilizes the GIMP process.
