Code execution via unrestricted collection class instantiation
Published Apr 14, 2026 · Updated Apr 14, 2026
Twig sandbox bypass in October CMS before 3.7.13 and 4.0.0 through 4.1.4 allows remote authenticated users to execute PHP functions. SafeCollection trusts collection methods through CallsAnyMethod, and mapInto instantiates an attacker-supplied class without a sandbox allowlist. Template-editing permission and CMS_SAFE_MODE=true are required; crafted templates can execute zero-argument PHP functions or read server files.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
