CVE-2026-22665Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Account impersonation via case-variant username collision

Published Apr 3, 2026 · Updated Apr 3, 2026

Identity confusion in prompts.chat before commit 1464475 allows remote authenticated users to impersonate accounts via case-variant usernames. Profile updates use a case-sensitive findUnique query, while profile pages resolve usernames case-insensitively with an unordered findFirst query. A registered account can create a colliding name, causing victim URLs and metadata to resolve to attacker-controlled profile content.
