Client code execution via unsanitized ZIP filenames
Published Apr 3, 2026 · Updated Apr 3, 2026
Path traversal in prompts.chat before commit 0f8d4c3 allows remote authenticated users to plant arbitrary paths in skill ZIP archives. Server endpoints store unvalidated skill filenames, and the download route passes those names to zip.file(), allowing traversal entries to escape the extraction directory. Exploitation requires a victim to download and extract the archive with a permissive tool; overwriting a shell initialization file executes code when a new shell starts.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
