CVE-2026-22619

Local code execution via uncontrolled library search

Published Apr 16, 2026 · Updated Apr 16, 2026

Insecure library loading in Eaton Intelligent Power Protector before 2.0 allows local users to execute arbitrary code through its executable. The executable searches for and loads a library from an attacker-controlled location without constraining the search path; Eaton has not disclosed the affected binary or library name. Exploitation requires low-privileged local access and control of the software package, and successful loading runs attacker code in the executable's security context.
