CVE-2026-22617Network attack vector

Session-cookie interception via missing Secure attribute

Published Apr 16, 2026 · Updated Apr 16, 2026

Sensitive cookie exposure in Eaton Intelligent Power Protector before 2.0 allows remote authenticated users to intercept session cookies over a network. The IPP web interface sets a session cookie without the Secure attribute, allowing browsers to send it over an unprotected HTTP connection. An attacker requires network-level access, privileged authentication, and user interaction to intercept and exploit the cookie in a man-in-the-middle attack.
