Improper authentication controls in Eaton Intelligent Power Protector before 2.0 allow remote attackers to repeatedly guess web login credentials. The web interface login handler accepts repeated authentication requests without enforcing sufficient rate limits on failed attempts. Access to the web application is the only required gate, enabling unauthenticated password guessing and account compromise if valid credentials are found.
