Authenticated denial of service via invalid TimeProfile profile
Published Jan 21, 2026 · Updated Jan 21, 2026
Improper input validation in the ManageIQ API before radjabov-2 allows remote authenticated users to cause request timeouts. The TimeProfile model accepts profile keys, day and hour values, and time-zone names without checking their permitted forms before persistence. A low-privileged API user can store a malformed profile that makes later UI and API requests time out, interrupting the service without reported data disclosure or modification.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
