Authenticated SQL execution via unvalidated post ID
Published Jan 10, 2026 · Updated Jan 10, 2026
SQL injection in Ghost 5.90.0 through 5.130.5 and 6.0.0 through 6.10.3 allows remote authenticated users to execute arbitrary SQL. EventRepository.getAggregatedClickEvents interpolates the filter's data.post_id value directly into a click-event SQL query without validating it as an ObjectID. Valid Admin API credentials and access to /ghost/api/admin/members/events are required, granting read and write access within the Ghost database and the ability to interrupt service.

Exploitability
Present is not the same as exploitable
Compare your product and version with the public record. A matching version still requires validation against your environment.
Is a vulnerable build present?
Compare these published version ranges with your installed build and any vendor patches.
- Affected versionversion=>= 5.90.0, < 5.130.6
