CVE-2026-22589Public exploitNetwork attack vector

Guest address disclosure via null user authorization

Published Jan 10, 2026 · Updated Jan 10, 2026

Authorization bypass in Spree Commerce before 4.10.2, 5.0.7, 5.1.9, and 5.2.5 allows remote attackers to read guest address data. The Spree::Ability rule grants address-management access when a transient guest user and a guest address both have a null user_id, while the storefront controller loads an attacker-selected address ID. No authentication, cookie, or session token is required; affected storefronts expose guest names, physical addresses, and phone numbers, while registered-user addresses and headless API-only builds are unaffected.
