CVE-2026-22549Network attack vector

Cluster-secret disclosure via excessive controller permissions

Published Feb 4, 2026 · Updated Feb 4, 2026

Excessive privileges in F5 BIG-IP Container Ingress Services allow remote authenticated users to read Kubernetes cluster secrets. F5 identifies unnecessary execution privileges but has not disclosed which role, manifest, or permission rule grants the controller broader secret access than required. Exploitation requires high privileges over the network, and the reported consequence is secret disclosure without integrity or availability impact.
